Exam Dates for CA Foundation Course in 2020

CA – Foundation is a new entrance exam for the CA course, which substituted the CPT exam.

ICAI dates guidelines: CA Foundation exam happens twice every year, one in the month of May and second in the month of November.

To appear in the exam of November month, a candidate needs to register herself/himself on or before 31st July. Similarly, to appear for CA Foundation for May month, the candidates register themselves after 31st July and on or before 31st December.

This implies that those who want to appear for this exam in May 2020 must have registered themselves by 31st December 2019. The exam dates for the May session exam are out already, by ICAI. This is an indication that you should start preparing at the earliest. There is one day gap in between each examination.

The papers for November 2019 were held from 11th November 2019 to 17th November 2019, we can note that the exam date for May 2020 is from 11th May 2020 to 17th May 2020.
